Integrated Fire & Security Solutions has been Acquired by Fortis Fire & Safety

• TM Capital served as exclusive financial advisor to Integrated Fire & Security Solutions, Inc. (“IFSS”), a portfolio company of Newlook Capital and Fengate, in its sale to Fortis Fire & Safety (“Fortis”), a portfolio company of Imperial Capital
• Founded in 2005, IFSS is the leading integrator of security and life safety systems in Florida with five field offices across the state, 85+ service technicians and a broad installed base as well as additional operations in North Carolina via the acquisition of Diversified Systems, Inc. (“DSI”) in 2021
• IFSS designs, implements, maintains and upgrades best-in-class security and fire protection systems for entrenched customers primarily in the K-12 education, branch banking, municipal and critical infrastructure end markets
• Established in 2021, Fortis is building a “Next Generation” fire protection and integrated security platform, bringing together leading companies from around the country to form a unified organization that better serves customers and their people
• The partnership with IFSS enhances Fortis’ presence in the Southeast U.S. market and adds complementary security and life safety capabilities and expertise to the Fortis platform
• Newlook Capital is a private equity firm that manages industry-specialized funds and invests across the United States and Canada; Fengate is a leading alternative investment manager, with more than $8 billion of capital commitments under management, focused on private equity, infrastructure and real estate strategies
• Imperial Capital is a Toronto-based middle market private equity firm focused on North American opportunities to build or acquire growth-oriented platform investments in targeted industry niches within healthcare, business and consumer services industries
