TM Capital Merges With Boston Corporate Finance

(TM), one of the leading privately held investment and merchant banking firms in North America, and Boston Corporate Finance, Inc. (BCF), a technology-focused investment bank based in Westwood, MA, announced today that the firms have merged effective January 1, 2008. The combination creates a pre- eminent independent investment banking firm providing its global roster of clients with a wide range of mergers and acquisitions, financing and advisory services. The firm will operate under the TM Capital name from offices in New York, Boston and Atlanta, and include all of the current partners of TM and BCF.
Both TM Capital and BCF are M&A International Inc. partner firms. With 42 offices in 38 countries and completed transactions in 2007 valued in excess of $19 billion, M&A International is the world’s most formidable alliance of mergers & acquisitions firms. Murray Beach, President of BCF, also serves as the Chairman of M&A International.
Since its founding in 1989, TM Capital has advised an impressive roster of public and private client companies on a broad variety of strategic merger, acquisition and financing engagements aggregating over $10 billion in value. BCF, founded in 2002, has leveraged its technology focus and expertise to complete a wide range of transactions for an international client base, including some of the world’s leading technology companies.
Upon completion of the merger, Jim Grien was appointed President of TM Capital and Murray Beach and Brad Adams were named Managing Directors. Other Managing Directors of the firm include Michael Goldman, Alex Mammen, Jerome Romano, Paul Smolevitz and Greg Robertson, who also serves as Chairman. The firm has approximately 30 professionals and collaborates with over 400 M&A International investment bankers around the globe.
