April 27, 2009 – TM Capital is pleased to announce that the firm has been named M&A International’s Member of the Year, for the second year in a row. The award recognizes TM Capital’s outstanding contribution to generating cross-border transactions. Winners were announced on April 18, 2009 at the M&A International Atlanta Spring Conference.
In addition, TM Capital was honored with Deal of the Year for advising Telvent in its $445 million acquisition of DTN Holding Company, Inc. TM Capital worked in collaboration with its Spanish M&A International partner – Closa Corporate Finance – and this is the third transaction the team has closed for Telvent. The Telvent transaction was also named Technology Deal of the Year.
TM Capital also received Construction and Engineering Services Deal of the Year, for the acquisition by New Enterprise Stone & Lime of Stabler Companies, and Healthcare Deal of the Year, for assisting Dinex Holdings in its sale to Carlisle Companies. Cavendish Corporate Finance, M&A International’s UK-based member, assisted with the Dinex transaction.
