Allan Cruickshanks is a Managing Director at TM Capital LLC. His extensive investment banking experience encompasses a wide variety of transactions across numerous industry verticals including Industrials and Niche Manufacturing, Specialty Distribution and E-Commerce, Business Services, Building Products and Consumer Durables, and Aerospace & Defense, among others. He has worked with numerous industry-leading private equity, financial sponsor, private, and public companies, many of which are repeat clients. Allan is widely regarded for having particular expertise in achieving premium outcomes for Private Equity and other financial sponsor clients in sell-side M&A advisory transactions for their portfolio companies.
Prior to joining TM Capital, Allan was a Managing Director at BB&T Capital Markets, where he focused primarily on sell-side M&A advisory for private equity and other clients. He previously worked at boutique investment banking and brokerage firm Anderson & Strudwick. Prior to that he worked at Jefferies Quarterdeck, the Aerospace, Defense, & Government Services focused practice of Jefferies & Company
Allan holds a B.A. with Distinction from the University of Virginia.
Allan lives in Richmond, VA with his wife, three children, and two dogs. He is a Cub Scout den leader as well as a volunteer for various Scouting, baseball, and other children’s activities. When not traveling for TM, Allan mostly acts as a general chauffeur for his children while occasionally enjoying boating on the Rappahannock River or Chesapeake Bay, fishing, skiiing, hiking, and similar activities. Allan is an avid reader and a lifelong fan of UVA sports.
