Jerome Romano is a Managing Director of TM Capital LLC. Jerome joined TM Capital in 1998 and has completed a broad range of multifaceted transactions for numerous private equity, family and entrepreneur-owned private companies and publicly traded companies operating in diverse industries.  He has successfully managed sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions, debt financings and equity capital raises, restructurings, 363 sales, takeover defenses and fairness opinions and provided a variety of general corporate advisory services. Jerome’s extensive experience enables him to specialize in complex domestic and cross-border assignments that combine his M&A, debt financing and restructuring expertise and he is a regular speaker at M&A industry conferences.

Over his 20 years at TM Capital, Jerome has developed a particular focus advising companies in commercial and residential building products, branded and private label consumer products, industrial manufacturing, and the retail and restaurant sectors. Jerome co-leads TM’s Financing and Restructuring Advisory group and leads TM’s building products practice.

For nine years Jerome served as a member of the executive committee and board of the New York Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG). He founded and co-chaired the annual ACG New York M&A DealSource event for the past eight years. Jerome is a 2019 winner of the Association for Corporate Growth’s Meritorious Service Award and a 2011 national winner of the M&A Advisor Top 40 Under 40 Award.

Jerome is a cum laude graduate of Georgetown University, where he earned a degree in Business Administration with a double major in finance and management. Jerome also studied at the London School of Economics.

Outside of work, Jerome resides in the Boston metropolitan area with his wife and daughter and spends his free time travelling and cooking. Jerome is a memeber of the Board of Trustees of Canisius High School and remains an avid supporter of the Bills and Sabres.
