TM Capital, a division of Janney, in partnership with King & Spalding, is excited to host our first annual Owners Summit. The Owners Summit offers privately-held businesses the opportunity to meet with investor groups in an exclusive, one-on-one setting. These investor groups include private equity firms, family offices, growth equity firms, and sovereign wealth funds investing across all industries.

The focus of this event is learning and networking. Along with the one-on-one meetings, we will offer a number of panel discussions addressing key topics relevant to private business owners. Following the event, TM Capital will collect feedback from the investors you met with, present this feedback to you, and coordinate follow-up dialogue if desired.

All investors sign a non-disclosure agreement that restricts post-conference contact without an invitation from you to do so. This is your chance to make new connections and gather insights from operators who have successfully grown businesses like yours.

Keynote Speaker
Brad Daugherty
Former All-American Basketball Player, Five-Time NBA All-Star & NASCAR Team Owner

Brad Daugherty, a former all-American basketball player and five-time NBA All-Star from the University of North Carolina, made history in 2023 as the first Black principal owner to win the Daytona 500 through his NASCAR racing team, JTG Daugherty Racing. A co-owner of the team with Tad and Jodi Geschickter, Daugherty transitioned from basketball to racing, drawing inspiration from his family’s involvement in hot rods and drag racing. Starting his NASCAR journey in 1989, Daugherty has achieved success as a team owner in various series, including victories in the NASCAR Nationwide Series.
Beyond racing, Daugherty played eight NBA seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers, earning induction into the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame in 2001. His basketball career flourished at the University of North Carolina, where he was a two-time All-ACC player and a first-team All-America in his senior year. Daugherty has also worked in broadcasting, originally covering college basketball and later, transitioning to racing. He is a sports analyst for the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series while making regular appearances on ESPN programs.
